In the second quarter of 2024, the fitness and weight loss category for Android apps has seen varying trends among the top five performers, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Strava: Run, Bike, Hike experienced fluctuating revenue, peaking at $1.9M in mid-June, while downloads saw a dip in mid-April to around 289K before recovering to 360K by the end of June. Weekly active users remained relatively stable with a slight uptick from 17.4M to 18.2M.

For komoot - hike, bike & run, revenue also fluctuated, reaching a high of $757K in early April and ending at $393K. Downloads peaked at 816K in late April, with weekly active users seeing a rise from 4.9M to 5.3M by the quarter's end.

MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter showed a consistent revenue pattern with a notable peak at $392K in early May. Downloads remained below 300K throughout the quarter, while the app's weekly active users saw an increase from 2.9M to 3.2M.

Relive: Run, Ride, Hike & more saw its revenue grow modestly, ending the quarter at $142K. Download numbers varied, with a high of 137K in early April, and active users ranged from 1.1M to 1.2M throughout the period.

Lastly, Sports Tracker Running Cycling had a steady revenue trend, finishing at $90K. Downloads showed a slight decline over the quarter, and weekly active users hovered around 1M, ending slightly below this mark.
